Temple 37, Wyoming 15
Bernard Pierce ran for two early touchdowns and Temple quarterback Chris Coyer threw for 169 yards and a touchdown to help Temple roll over Wyoming 37-15 in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on Saturday.
The Owls defense had three interceptions to help Temple (9-4) to the second bowl win in school history.

| Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg (Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Fla.) |
Marshall 20, Florida International 10
Rakeem Cato threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns to help Marshall beat Florida International 20-10 in the Beef `O'Brady's Bowl. Marshall (7-6) overcame a slow start to win five of its last seven games and avoid a losing record in its second season under coach Doc Holliday.

| MAACO Bowl Las Vegas (Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas) |
Boise State 56, Arizona State 24
Doug Martin rushed for 151 yards and returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, giving Boise State a lead 14 seconds into the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas on the way to a 56-24 win. Kellen Moore finished with 266 yards and two touchdowns, ending his career with 50 total wins.

| Sheraton Hawaii Bowl (Aloha Stadium, Honolulu) |
Southern Mississippi 24, Nevada 17
Austin Davis made the plays when it counted to send Southern Mississippi coach Larry Fedora out a winner. Davis threw two touchdowns, including a 4-yarder late in the game, and Southern Miss (No. 21 BCS, No. 22 AP) earned a school-record 12th victory by holding off Nevada 24-17 in the Sheraton Hawaii Bow.

| Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas (Reliant Stadium, Houston) |
Texas A&M 33, Northwestern 22
After everything Texas A&M had been through in the last month, interim coach Tim DeRuyter worried how the Aggies would respond in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. It didn't take long for DeRuyter to see that his team was going to be just fine. Ryan Tannehill threw for 329 yards and a touchdown and Ben Malena ran for two more scores to lead Texas A&M to a 33-22 win over Northwestern.

| Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl (Gerald J. Ford Stadium, Fort Worth, Texas) |
BYU 24, Tulsa 21
Riley Nelson hurriedly led BYU to the line with a call from the sideline to spike the ball and stop the clock. Instead, Nelson faked the spike and then threw his third touchdown pass to Cody Hoffman with 11 seconds left to give the Cougars a 24-21 victory over Tulsa on Friday in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl and another 10-win season.

| BBVA Compass Bowl (Legion Field, Birmingham, Ala.) |
SMU 28, Pittsburgh 6
SMU has not lost this season when it scores first or puts up at least 21 points. The Mustangs were quick to check off both benchmarks to give coach June Jones his 100th collegiate win. SMU put up three first-quarter touchdowns, including scoring runs and passes by J.J. McDermott, to beat Pittsburgh 28-6.
